Pramod Kurampala
India
I am Pramod Kurampala, an artist deeply inspired by the rhythms of nature and the stories it tells. Growing up in Kerala, surrounded by lush greenery and cultural richness, my artistic journey began with an innate desire to capture the world as I saw it—vibrant, emotive, and interconnected.
Through my works, I aim to explore the delicate balance between humanity and nature. My exhibition, Prapanjathalam, remains a significant milestone, where I used symbols like headless palms, caged birds, and reshaped landscapes to reflect the consequences of environmental exploitation. Art, for me, is not just an aesthetic experience but a medium of conscience and change.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of showcasing my works in several exhibitions organized by esteemed bodies like the Kerala Lalithakala Academy. These opportunities have brought recognition and reinforced my belief in art’s ability to initiate meaningful conversations.
My creative process is deeply rooted in observation, memory, and a commitment to preserving the essence of our world for future generations. Every stroke on the canvas is a reminder of our shared responsibility and a call to reimagine our connection with the Earth.

My artistic journey has taken me to numerous galleries and venues, where I have had the privilege of sharing my works with diverse audiences. Here are some of the exhibitions and shows where my paintings have been showcased:
Prapanjathalam – A solo exhibition at Hallegua Hall, Jew Town, Mattanchery, organized by Kerala Lalithakala Academy. This show focused on the impact of human activities on nature and received overwhelming appreciation from art lovers.
Group exhibitions with esteemed galleries such as the Nehru Centre Art Gallery and Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai, showcasing works alongside talented contemporaries.
Participation in thematic art events addressing social and environmental issues, which have further strengthened my resolve to use art as a medium for change.
Each of these exhibitions has been a stepping stone in my journey, allowing me to connect with audiences and convey the pressing narratives embedded in my work.
