Return & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

At Artistically.in, we strive to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. Our return and cancellation policy is designed to provide you with a hassle-free experience, whether you are an artist or a customer.


1. Returns

For Customers: We accept returns under the following conditions:

Eligibility:

  • The artwork must be returned in its original condition.
  • The return request must be made within 14 days of receiving the artwork.
  • Custom or commissioned artworks are not eligible for returns.

Process:

  1. Initiate a Return:
    • Email us at returns@artistically.in with your order number, the reason for the return, and photographs of the artwork in its original condition.
  2. Approval:
    • Once your return request is approved, we will provide you with a return authorization and instructions for shipping the artwork back to us.
  3. Shipping:
    • Pack the artwork securely in the original packaging or equivalent. Include all original documents, certificates, and receipts.
    • You are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.
  4. Inspection:
    • Upon receiving the returned artwork, we will inspect it to ensure it is in its original condition.
  5. Refund:
    • If the artwork passes the inspection, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original method of payment.

For Artists: Artists are responsible for ensuring that the artwork is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. If a returned artwork is damaged due to improper packaging, the artist will be held responsible. Artists should review our secure packaging guidelines available in the artist login section.

 

2. Cancellations

For Customers: We accept cancellations under the following conditions:

Before Shipment:

  • If you wish to cancel your order before it has been shipped, please contact us immediately at support@artistically.in with your order number.
  • If the order has not yet been processed for shipping, we will cancel the order and issue a full refund.

After Shipment:

  • If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled. In this case, you may follow the return process once you receive the artwork.

Custom or Commissioned Artworks:

  • Custom or commissioned artworks cannot be canceled once the artist has started work on them. If you need to cancel a custom or commissioned artwork, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.

For Artists: If a customer cancels a custom or commissioned artwork before the artist has started work, the artist will be notified immediately. Once work has commenced, cancellations will not be permitted. Payments will be withheld until the cancellation is resolved.

 

3. Damaged or Defective Items

For Customers: If you receive an artwork that is damaged or defective, please follow these steps:

  1. Report:
    • Email us at support@artistically.in within 48 hours of receiving the artwork with your order number, a detailed description of the damage or defect, and photographs.
  2. Resolution:
    • We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include offering a replacement, repair, or refund.

For Artists: Artists should ensure proper packaging to prevent damage. If an artwork is damaged during transit, the artist will be responsible for rectifying the issue. All artworks are insured by our courier partners and insurance companies, so in case of any natural calamities or transit damages, the artist will receive the estimated price, though it may take some time.

 

4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are non-returnable:

  • Custom or commissioned artworks.
  • Gift cards.
  • Artworks marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at the time of purchase.

 

5. Digital Art or Photography

For Customers: We accept returns and provide refunds for digital art or photography under the following conditions:

Eligibility:

  • Digital files such as .pdf, .jpeg, .tif, .png, etc., are non-returnable and non-refundable once they have been downloaded or delivered via email.
  • If the digital file is defective or corrupted, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt to request a replacement.

Physical Copies:

  • Any physical or printed copy of digital art or photography can be returned or refunded if:
    • The package is damaged during shipping.
    • The quality of the printed artwork is not up to the mark as described.

Process:

  1. Report:
    • Email us at support@artistically.in with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and any relevant screenshots of error messages or photographs of the damaged product/package.
  2. Resolution:
    • We will verify the issue and, if the file is indeed defective or corrupted, provide a replacement file within 7-10 business days.

For Artists: Artists should ensure the accuracy and quality of digital files before delivery. Any discrepancies must be resolved promptly. Payments will be delayed until the issue is resolved.

 

6. Secure Packaging

Artists are responsible for ensuring that the artwork is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit. Please watch our demo videos on how to pack artwork for more details. Artists can read and understand the "Artist Guideline Document" provided in the artist's login section.

Proper Invoice Labeling: Proper invoice labeling on the parcel is crucial to avoid any customs security issues. Artists need to take a printout of the invoice copy, paste it on the case of the parcel, and wrap it with a plastic cover to protect it from damage. For any discrepancies, artists need to contact our customer support number instead of interacting with customers directly.

Communication: Artists should never contact customers directly for any payment/cost/money-related queries. Instead, they can contact our customer support department. Artists need patience and tolerance for any delay in payments, which could be due to various reasons such as income tax issues, bank holidays, customs declaration/approval issues, or flight delays, etc.

 

7. Prohibited Items

Artists should not send any prohibited items such as seeds, weapons, money, drugs, etc., to any person or country. This may lead to penal punishment based on the country laws. In such cases, Artistically.in is not responsible, and the artist needs to face the consequences themselves. Artistically.in will not cover any court/lawyer fees, etc.
